Okay, now we're going to be looking at a slide switch

I have a slide switch here with an orange jumper wire going to its center pin

And on its left pen, it's in line with this green LED, the anode of the green LED

and then the cathode of the green LED goes here in line with this resistor here that goes to

the grounding bus bar here. On the right side pin of this slide switch

is in line with this anode of the red LED. The cathode of the red LED is in line with this resistor

that then goes to ground. I haven't hooked the power up yet

because once I do, according to the position of this slide, switch right now which is to the left side this centered jumper wire here from

power is going to go to this left pin which will automatically turn this green

LED on once I put the power in so I putting my positive power supply on my positive rail here that goes to this orange jumper wire

here to the center pin of the switch. And I'm putting my ground wire to ground

or to the negative supply. So the switch is turned to the left side of the slide switch

So the green LED is on. If I switch it to the right side, the red LED comes on

So this slide switch is a single pole double throw switch. So we have a single pole coming into the switch

This orange jumper wire from the positive power supply going into the center pin of the switch

And then we have two output pins, one on the left and one on the right

And right now I have the slider of the slide switch to the right side which is turning on the red LED and going to ground

Again, if I turn it to the left, the green LED comes on. So this output, this left side output is on
